THIS IS THE ITINERARY OF THE 8-day tour from marrakech:

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

We will start our journey by leaving the busy city of Marrakech and heading toward the High Atlas Mountains. You will see breathtaking views as we drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, a turning road that takes us through the heart of the mountains. We will spend the day exploring the Sahara Desert. After watching the sunrise, we’ll visit the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you can walk on the sand and take photos. Next, we’ll meet a nomadic family to learn about their traditional way of life.

We will then visit the village of Khamlia, where you’ll listen to the unique Gnawa music, a mix of African and Berber rhythms. For lunch, we will enjoy a traditional Berber pizza in the village this is a flatbread filled with meat and spices, baked in a clay oven.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the old M’ifis Mines and stop at Merzouga Lake, a peaceful spot surrounded by palm trees. After a full day, we’ll return to Merzouga, where you will stay in a hotel for the night.

Day 4: merzouga – ziz valley – medilt – azrou – ifrane – fes

We will leave the Sahara Desert in the morning and start our journey toward Fes. Our first stop will be the beautiful Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm trees and stunning views. You will have a chance to enjoy the scenery and take some photos.

Next, we will stop in the town of Midelt for lunch. Midelt is a quiet town in the mountains, and it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal before continuing our journey.

You will then walk through the narrow streets of the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will visit the famous tanneries, where leather is made using traditional methods, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest university in the world.

Around midday, we will stop for a delicious lunch in Fes, where you can try traditional Moroccan dishes. Day 8: Explore Tangier and Departure
