Day Trip from Marrakech to Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou

Morning Drive from Marrakech We will start early from Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. You will enjoy amazing mountain views and see small Berber villages along the way.

Ait Ben Haddou Our first major stop will be Ait Ben Haddou, a famous old village made of clay. You will walk around its narrow streets and learn about its history, as it has been featured in many movies.

Lunch in Ouarzazate Next, we will head to Ouarzazate, where you will have a traditional Moroccan lunch. Known for its film studios, Ouarzazate is often called the “Hollywood of Africa.”

Explore Ouarzazate After lunch, we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah, a large old fortress. You will also see the outside of some local film studios before we begin our return trip.

Return to Marrakech We will drive back to Marrakech in the evening, ending our exciting day trip.
